Ron Paul scares me…
I don’t really understand what it is about Ron Paul that has people in a frenzy. I am not gonna say anything about his proposed policies of anything of that nature, I am just frightened at the devotion he is shown by his supporters. Hearing what people have to say about him and how much they believe in him makes him seem less like a politician and more like the leader of a cult.
I am simply saying this: I have neverseen that kind of devotion to a politician before.
Because he’s the only one that doesn’t just tell us what we want to hear. He’ll actually end the wars, unlike Obama.
Is stopping the slaughter of thousands of innocents not enough to inspire passion in you?

There are still private military contractors murdering people in Iraq under our sponsorship. He also got a Nobel Peace Prize for ramping up the killing in Afghanistan. Not to mention he’s responsible for civilian deaths in Libya, Yemen, and Pakistan.

Again, free markets are the best way to make medicine, even for women, accessible and cheap.
I know it sucks that women get less pay statistically, but you can’t dictate deep rooted societal sexism away. All it leads to is affirmative action where less competent people get hired just because of their genitals. BTW: Ron Paul would also allow anyone to join the military.
This practice of favouritism was part of the reason for the revolutionary war. Government is not there to pick winners. The only way to get the American people the bet products at the best price is to allow supply and demand to do their thing.
And oh god should we end the department of education. How can it be a good thing for the federal government to dictate what we need to know? Allow good teachers to prosper by returning free choice of curriculum, location, and even attendance to the family.

Muslims who idealize Ron Paul baffle me.
Why is that? It makes perfect sense. RP is the only one that will end the slaughter of innocent Muslims overseas.

He’s good on his feet and appears pretty comfortable in his own skin. That’s the elusive quality of emotional intelligence. Are you in balance? Can you relate to others, keep your demons and insecurities under control, and stay out of trouble? Obama gets high marks in this important category.
So just cause he has confidence and swagger he gets your vote? Why not vote according to how well he lived up to his campaign promises or how seriously he took his oath to uphold the constitution? He never closed gitmo, he’s expanded the wars, he has continued the drug war, he legalized assassinations and indefinite detentions, he criminalized protesting near politicians, and he is putting 30,000 drones in our skies.
