So… you like America?

If you hate the Government then you are unqualified to manage it. If you hate gay people more than you love America than you should take your own advice and get the hell out. There are several countries that are openly hostile to gay people, but they are full of brown people and you don’t like them much either from what I understand. It looks like you are screwed, but that’s not what I am here to tell you.

an open letter to people who hate obama more than they love america (via tripthruthewires)

Why should anyone like the government? It is merely a monopoly of force. I love this country, but I hate my government. No man has the right to tell anyone else how to live, and that is exactly what our POTUS does.

Terrorist Plots, Hatched by the F.B.I.
“The United States has been narrowly saved from lethal terrorist plots in recent years — or so it has seemed. A would-be suicide bomber was intercepted on his way to the Capitol; a scheme to bomb synagogues and shoot Stinger missiles at military aircraft was developed by men in Newburgh, N.Y.; and a fanciful idea to fly explosive-laden model planes into the Pentagon and the Capitol was hatched in Massachusetts.
But all these dramas were facilitated by the F.B.I., whose undercover agents and informers posed as terrorists offering a dummy missile, fake C-4 explosives, a disarmed suicide vest and rudimentary training. Suspects naïvely played their parts until they were arrested.
This is legal, but is it legitimate?”

You cannot expect government to solve the problems that it creates.

The Ideal Government

Exactly.

This picture kind of makes me wonder why some people feel the need to make others question their own faith. If they’re happy believing in God, why can’t you just let them be happy?
EDIT: I probably sounded like a bit of a hypocrite there, since ive sometimes spoken against some parts of religion because of the anti-gay stuff but i guess its like.. you can believe whatever you want, as long as you aren’t trying to encroach on someone else’s right to believe what they want.
.. am i making any sense? or am i just making things worse? i dunno. D:

There have been more acts of violence committed in the name of religion than under any other banner. It is a blight on humanity. The only true road to peace and prosperity is the completely free flow of people, goods, and ideas.

Dictatorships often come under the guise of safety. They come in the dark, full of lies keeping the people from seeing what’s really going on. (Just look through history.)

“Like a thief in the night,” the Bible speaks of Christ’s Second Coming (1 Thess. 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Rev. 3:3) but also…

why try and save people when we could be killing dark skinned people somewhere else?

This would be accurate if a donkey were in the tank as well. The dems and reps have exactly the same foreign policy.

Why should any of us pay taxes to the federal government? Or if we have to, wouldn’t it be the most fair option to tax everybody at the same rate? As is, we are telling the public that the harder they work, the bigger cut Uncle Sam gets.
We also participate in favoritism, a key catalyst for the American Revolution, by taxing different industries at different rates. The government should not be trusted to pick the winners in our industrial or financial sectors. The best way to pick winners is to vote with our dollars. If we are truly free to forge our own path, then we should all be expected to pay the same percentage of our income to the federal government.

Anti-Paul list debunked

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate with substantive policy differences. He is nothing like those two mainstream sellouts.

lol. no.

See here and here.

OMG you reference two bullshit lists put together only to discredit him. Why don’t you independently look up his stance on all this stuff rather than getting some list to force opinions on you?

  • Church and State separation is a fundamental part of liberty, which Ron Paul fights for at every turn.
  • Abortion is not in the jurisdiction of the federal government. He would allow states to decide. He personally doesn’t like it, but would you if you saw babies being aborted as he did practicing medicine?
  • Does that mean he championed them?
  • He supports ending the department of education which serves only to indoctrinate our children with pc government approved opinions and fails to reward good students and teachers.
  • He doesn’t believe there should be federally run schools, so the state would decide curriculum most likely. Including evolution v creationism.
  • He doesn’t believe HIV causes AIDS. (ETA: Rand Paul, his son, belongs to a group that does not believe HIV causes AIDS. There’s no evidence to support that Ron Paul agrees or disagrees.) This one is just bullshit
  • He doesn’t think the government has a right to say who can and can’t be married. How is that against gays?
  • It was proven that he didn’t write that bullshit.
  • Gold standard didn’t cause the depression, the federal reserve did.
  • He believes in free market capitalism. Is that a bad thing? It has been historically shown to be the only reliable regulator of any economy.
  • He wants to get rid of Affirmative Action. Good, why should we allow skin color or origin to affect any decision on people’s job aptitude?
  • He is a frequent guest on the Alex Jones radio show. Alex Jones is a government-hating conspiracy theorist. If you don’t know who Alex Jones is, then Google him. That doesn’t mean he believes all that junk, he just wants to spread his own message. And BTW not everything Jones says is false. I agree most is though so no tin foil hat comments plz.
