He’s good on his feet and appears pretty comfortable in his own skin. That’s the elusive quality of emotional intelligence. Are you in balance? Can you relate to others, keep your demons and insecurities under control, and stay out of trouble? Obama gets high marks in this important category.
So just cause he has confidence and swagger he gets your vote? Why not vote according to how well he lived up to his campaign promises or how seriously he took his oath to uphold the constitution? He never closed gitmo, he’s expanded the wars, he has continued the drug war, he legalized assassinations and indefinite detentions, he criminalized protesting near politicians, and he is putting 30,000 drones in our skies.

FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT FIGHT IT
I think Ron Paul sucks. Yup.
COME AT ME, BRO.
Is it for any of these reasons?
- You like undeclared, hence unconstitutional, wars fueled by the military industrial complex. More so when victory is undefined and unattainable because it results in the creation of hostilities of the native inhabitants due to the slaughter of thousands of women and children.
- You enjoy the idea that the federal government can say who can and cannot get married, have an abortion, or ride an airplane without getting molested.
- You are looking forward to the inevitable collapse of our economy caused by the federal reserve printing unlimited dollars and allocating them, in secret, to their cronies including international banks.
- The only reason you get up in the morning is to read about young people murdering each other over the area in which they distribute narcotics and the profits obtained from said distribution. When, if only their profession weren’t demonized and criminalized they would have civil recourse to these disputes.

If you support Obama you must like:
- The unconstitutional bombing of women and children (Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya)
- The federal reserve printing infinite money; depreciating everyone’s savings
- The activities happening in Guantanamo
- Imprisoning non-violent drug offenders
- 30,000 drones spying on american citizens
- The indefinite detention and assassination of american citizens (NDAA)
- Governmental authority to confiscate everybody’s food, plants, water, transportation, and construction materials (NDRP)
Alabama finally did something right (:
okay, everyone who smokes, go get butthurt about this and hate me
What is wrong with letting the owner of an establishment decide what is best for his business?
What’s wrong is that it smoking in public- and by public I mean businesses open to the general public, not necessarily owned by the government or whatever- places means I have to smell and breathe it if I want to be in the building. It would be different if smokers could somehow keep all of their gross (not to mention carcinogenic), asthma-attack inducing junk out of the air around them, but unfortunately the nature of smoke is that is SPREADS. And it’s ridiculous that people should have to avoid certain places just to please people who want to light up whenever the heck they feel like it. If someone wants to smoke, they need to do it in their own private home, period. Preferably with windows and doors closed.
Private people have every right to do what they please with or in their property. If you agree with that you must conclude that they have every right to allow people who frequent their property to smoke. That part is about liberty and free will.
If you don’t like the smoke, go somewhere else. That’s a little common sense for you.
A little common sense would involve not inhaling rat poison and formaldehyde on a regular basis. I shouldn’t-and the rest of the non-smoking public- should not have to leave a place just to satisfy the smokers in the building. They can go home and smoke up the whole house for all I care-I’ll probably never need to go there. I do leave if the smoke is too much, by the way, because it makes me sick. I should have a right to go and breathe in a place without getting sick. Smokers infringe upon my freedom to act upon my free will if I have to choose to avoid a place just on account of them. Perhaps I should have clarified- smokers, on their own private property with others smokers or those who don’t object to it. A bar is a BUSINESS that is intended to be visited by more than the people who own it. Sitting on your porch with a few friends and smoking is very different from smoking in an enclosed bar full of people.
You’re still implying that it is better to let government take free will from the owner of the establishment than to allow the free market to decide. If you disapprove of the putrid carcinogenic atmosphere yield your patronage.
